Parker Brothers is an American toy and game manufacturer and brand. Since 1883, the company has published more than 1,800 games; among their best known products are Monopoly.

In 1968 Parker Brothers was acquired by General Mills and became their subsidiary.
In 1985 General Mills sold Parker Brothers to Kenner which then became Kenner Parker Toys, Inc.
In 1987 Kenner Parker Toys was acquired by Tonka Corporation.
In 1991 Tonka Corporation was acquired by Hasbro.
