Uhrwerk Verlag
Uhrwerk Verlag is a German publisher of a big variety of RPGs. Their portfolio includes self-made German games as well as translations of English RPGs. The company was founded by Patric Götz in 2008 and is based in the city of Cologne. It uses a sublabel for English products, called Clockwork Publishing (a translation of the German name).
Uhrwerk's self-made games in German are:
- Das Schwarze Auge: Myranor (western continent of the popular game DSA also known as The Dark Eye)
- Das Schwarze Auge: Tharun (another setting for DSA)
- Splittermond (a classical Fantasy RPG)
- Dungeonslayers (an old-fashioned RPG)
- Gammaslayers (postapocalyptic spin-off of Dungeonslayers)
- Starslayers (Science Fiction spin-off of Dungeonslayers)
- Malmsturm (a sword and sorcery setting for FATE)
- Space:1889 (with a mixture of translated and own products using the Ubiquity rules)
- Contact (a near-future setting about aliens on Earth)
- Engel (in cooperation with Feder und Schwert)
Furthermore they are publishing the following translated games in German versions:
- The One Ring (called "Der Eine Ring" in German)
- Hollow Earth Expedition
- FATE Core
- 13th Age
- Sea Dracula
- Achtung! Cthulhu (announced)
- Mutant Chronicles (announced)
Since 2015 they are also publishing the English version of the following RPG:
- Space:1889 (translated from the German version mentioned above)
They published the following games in the past, but all lines have been discontinued:
- Legend of the Five Rings
- Deadlands Classic
- Deadlands Hell on Earth
Uhrwerk Verlag has an international imprint Clockwork Publishing which is listed separately
