Ricardo Jorge Gomes

Ricardo Jorge Gomes (born 1981, in Setúbal, Portugal) is a portuguese boardgames expert, specialized in eurogames and worldwide respected for his international titles, such as the “Stone Age” World Championship (2015) and the two consecutive gold medals for “Settlers of Catan” (2016 and 2017), at London’s Mind Sports Olimpyad.

While considering retirement from official tournaments, Ricardo Jorge Gomes started to design his own prototypes; the first to get published is gonna be “Douro: 1872”, along with “Fado”, both by portuguese publisher “Pythagoras”, in the second half of 2018.
