I began designing games in the late '90s, but officially took off with it when The Game Crafter came on the scene. At that point, I published Main Street America and Robots vs Dinosaurs through them.

As time went on, I designed a number of deeper strategic games that were a hit with my gaming group, but didn't get to the table much because I play mostly with family. I therefore sought to create a casual game that everyone -- from gamers to family -- could enjoy.

Thus Roll For It! was born. It began on The Game Crafter but was then picked up and published by Calliope Games, makers of Tsuro and other amazing games. It has gone on to become a big hit, spawning limited editions, deluxe editions, and even an Express version partnered with the likes of TableTop, Origins, and Watch It Played.

Today, I have a varied line of games, from the casual (Roll For It!, Trainmaker) to the strategic (City of Gears, Robin Hood 2888) and lots in between.

I love all kinds of games, as long as they can provide a chance to sit at the table with others and have a great time.

After all, isn't that what gaming is all about?
